The Mind Science Institute Residency

The MSI Residency brings together dedicated and interdisciplinary undergraduates from across the U.S. to pursue mission-driven research in mind science, AI, and contemplative studies within a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment in Menlo Park. Residents gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools like EEG, VR, and neurofeedback, work directly with Dr. Michael McCullough, and collaborate with a cohort of like-minded peers ready to commit to advancing our understanding of the mind. 

Residents will participate in exclusive dinners, events, and discussions with leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, expanding their professional networks and perspectives. Alongside MSI advisors and mentors, residents will craft a personalized development plan to advance their long-term career goals through curated opportunities from Dr. Michael McCullough’s extensive network, such as shadowing top physicians and designing and leading projects within early-stage ventures. The program equips students with the skills, mentorship, and connections to become interdisciplinary innovators and leaders driving the future of neuroscience
